Ramsbury parish
Situated in the Kennet valley, midway between Marlborough and Hungerford, the Ramsbury & Axford villages are steeped in history. The pre-Medieval village of Ramsbury was a most important centre for the area, a connection which is maintained by the modern Bishop of Ramsbury. Today’s community population of around 1,500 benefits from a thriving primary school, a range of shops and services and Recreation Centre.
